I am a Miller Light kind of guy these days....although I just picked up a case of Keystone (crappy beer that Coors rejected) because DW was on a "we need to save money for a new house" kick. I'll be picking up a case of Miller Light next time I am at the beer distributor. I usually go for cans. Bottles are for fancy occasions.

Now this is my kinda topic!!!! I have been in the beer business for 15 years (Anheuser Busch/INBEV).
I choose my beverage by where, and who I'm camping with!!! If it's just me and the family I generally pick up Michelob or one of Mich's family members. If there will be a group of people I'll just grab Bud or Bud Light.
Location makes a difference also as to whether we are getting "strong" beer or "not in excess of 3.2" . There are five states left that only sell "not in execessof 3.2" beer and Oklahoma just happens to be one of them!!!
i like varieties of beer. everything from Stouts to Lagers and inbetween.
my favorite for camping is a summer ale or Hefeweisen. i usually get bottles, since the only thing in cans, pretty much, is lagers.
my favorite big brewery is Sam Adams, since they make all kinds of different types of beers. i usually pick up a big case of one of their varieties at Costco.
but, unfortunately, nothing compares to on-tap beer. i'll take any beer on tap, over anything in a bottle or can.
I prefer drinking the exported/imported Canadian beer I pick up when we cross the border into NY State... Real beer at a fantastic price .... Now if I have to drink (american) watered down light beer then its Coor's ... How ever most places even far from the border generally at least have imports like Carlsburg or Corona ... I have also had (and don't mind) some of the micro brew stuff .... like Land Shark ... But for real beer ... It's gotta be made in Canada ... ask Steve ... 😉
