Nope. We just use the good old notepad & pen hanging on the fridge.

If I have an app, how can I tell my wife I forgot the list at home to justify the 20#'s of steak I bought?

We use the "out of milk" app. You can make multiple lists and pick and choose which lists you want to share. Once you share it, anyone you share it with can add and cross off items.

No grocery list until I sit down and figure out a menu for each day and carryover leftovers. Then I go shopping for what's missing.
