Being a volunteer ff for over 20 years, I have seen a few CO calls where people were suffering the effects of co poisoning. All of those case where in a house where the family either did not have or let the batteries go dead in the CO detector.
So my public service announcement for the week is this: When you change your clock for daylights savings time also remember to change your batteries in your smoke detector and co detector.
