After more than 10 years, I just replaced my thermostat in my old camper and then... sold it.  The new camper thermostat stinks.  It's at ankle height and you can't read it.  I just purchased a PRO1 Non-Programmable Electronic Thermostat.  It was $40 (little expensive) but has two great features.  First, it fits in the existing thermo recessed area of 5" x 5" and I couldn't find another.  A much easier installation without modifying the cabinet.  It also lights up when you touch it, something a regrettably forgot about with the last one.

I'll post pictures after completed.

your not ready to start cutting and putting holes in the new popup yet?  Looks good.  You going to test it out in a few weeks?

This looks like something I'll be doing this spring.  Our thermostat is kind of a pain in the neck to read without crawling on the floor.

I can relate. Crawling on the floor was tough, getting up was worse.
