Be quite ironic to do it again, since this is where it all started (Low Country Boil).

I just got back from a weekend kayaking and fishing at Promised Land, ready to drive back up.  Spent the nights sleeping in the hammock (packed light for the solo trip) The lake was perfect, the fish were hungry and the scenery beautiful.  There were a ton of kayaks boats and canoes on the water.  Looking forward to going back in August with our pop up and A/C.

There is a cottage and campsite available for this rally but they won't last long.  Message me if you are interested.

Any thoughts to activities?

Maybe the Canvas Campers 500 at the Go cart track?

Maybe the PCA (Pro Camping Association) 1st annual mini golf tournament?

Maybe another trip to Camelback for Zip lines and mountain coaster?

All of the above sounds great!

We'd love to try our hands at Zipline,

Cora likes the sound of Zipline. We're bringing bikes and kayaks. Pretty sure the lake will be good and weedy but we'll bring some fishing gear too.

We'll gladly help with the boil and can bring some ingredients.  If anyone has a list of what's needed we'll check some stuff off of it.

We just got kayaks! this is a feat considering the current supply issues- do we need a launch permit for pa now for a kayaks? Is anyone aware of good rail trail type biking nearby? mini-golf sounds safe for us - the other stuff sounds fun, but not sure.

You can purchase your launch permits at the park office or online ahead of time.

Due to the current environment of the world, we are going to change the low country boil to a later date.

For this potluck, Jello Steve and Chief Bowes are cooking hamburgers and hotdogs with cheese and condiments.  Everyone will bring sides for their own family.  The cost is $4 per person.

Sounds like a safe plan. My two nephews may be joining us for a couple days towards the end of the week.

Should we place our meal request ahead of time so Jello & Chief know how much to buy?

If so, we'd like 2 burgers and 1 hot dog, thank you!

Just me this trip, boyfriend is still miserable with broken ribs.  I'll probably make my own burgers due to dietary restrictions.

Bringing my bike and kayak, maybe a tube to float on too.
Anyone interested in doing the 3 hour ropes course at the zipline place?  I'm afraid of heights (zipline was tolerable but wasir because it was quick).  I want to say that Ive conquered my fears and done a ropes course... but I'm not sure I want to actually do the ropes course 🙂

We are coming Friday. Arrival is planned for lunch or directly there after. Would be interested in mini golf or go carts,if it’s still on table. We are bringing our mopeds too!
