We are frequenters of the NYS Adirondack Park. There are seriously too many CG's too count and every kind of site available from boat only access, to walk up only, lean-tos, trailer sites that can fit compact to large.
This CG was absolutely gorgeous. It was all old growth trees that shaded each site as well as made them very private. A majority of sites in the "A" and "C" loops had water access.
The CG is within a short drive to Tupper, Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Tons of trail heads nearby and a sandy swimming area to hang at with swimming on Buck Pond where there is no motorized boats allowed so the water is clear and beautiful.
We are definatly keeping this on our short list for the ADK!!!!
