CG recommendations near Warner Robins, GA

We'd like to take the kids to the Museum of Aviation at Warner Robins and would like to camp when we do. There aren't any State Parks closer than about an hours' drive. Do you know of a campground closer to Warner Robins that you could recommend?

I've camped at the Veterans park in Cordelle, and visited the Air museum. You're probably right as far as the hour drive is concerned. A nice park on lake Blackshear though.

Veteran's is one of our favorite state parks. It's HUGE, has plenty to do/see and like all state parks, it's very well maintained. We like the wooded loop and the lake-side loop both; it's cool to have that option. I've gotta admit, I'm hooked on Georgia State Parks.
