This one's in our back yard.  Camp ground location is on opposite side of lake from day use area.  Camp ground has a small swimming area, no lifeguards on either swimming area.  Small play ground on camp ground side.  Large play ground on day use side.  Nothing fancy on either, but has a jungle gym, slide thingy.  Nice pavilions on day use side too.  This day use area gets quite full on nice weekends.

Camp ground host has firewood for $5 per bundle.  The weekend we were there, they were making deliveries to campsites in a golf cart.  Although I am told this is not a normal thing.

Most sites are shady, some more, some less.  We usually stay on the loop with the swimming area, our 10 year old loves water.  Sites 1-8 and 144-148 are in the sun, with grass and paved parking pads.  Sites beginning with 143 on same road are shaded.  Sites 9 - 14 are not level or very large either.  Sites 119 - 143 are shaded, and decent in size, they back up to the marshy, weedy area of lake, so you could launch kayak, but not fish, preferred would be 142 and 143.  Sites 123-131 are tent sites.  The ones closer to the point, you could fish from.  Sites 114-117 are no electric, but are against lake, and you could fish from there and fit pup on it.  Sites 114 and 115 co-join, as do 116 and 117, these are nice sites if you don't need electric.  114 and 115 have large stone parking pads and sitting areas, and are next to swimming area, so will be noisy on nice days.  116 & 117 are on the point.  Have double parking spot, so TV goes beside pup.  Works though, many people were doing it with ease, and fishing from campsite. Sites 119-122 have double parking space, so can angle pup to water and still have room for TV.

Sites 21,22, 34 have lake view, well shaded.  Sites 37-46 were are under construction in 2011.  Some trees were removed, so shade is partial.  Gravel parking pads, tent pads too, I think in 2012 will all have electric.  Site 104 and 105 co-join. Site 102 is long and wide, 99-101 co-join and 99 is quite shady.

On the other loop, I could recon if you're interested, have less info to share: Site 190 and 191 Full Sun.  Fairly level sites are 298, 299, 302, 306-309.  Semi Level 295-297.    Topographically site 179 is bottom of hill, 290 is top of hill, restroom is almost bottom of hill.  The trail that leads past the Yurts/Cabins goes all the way around to the day use area, but is narrow and can be muddy in places.

Restrooms are typical PA state park, some are in better shape than others.  Did not run out of TP while we were there.

Like I said, this is or back yard, so if you'd like pics, just ask and I'll scout the sites you're interested in.

In summer you can rent things to paddle at the day use area.  Be sure to bring your bug repellant, it can be buggy due to the marshy areas.

I've camped here many times, great campground.  There are some nice site (dry) right along the water, camper pad by the road and fire ring on the waters edge.

We had a group rally here Aug 2009.  Many kayaked on the lake and your BIL taught the kids a new game, Dice Something?

Probably Liar's Dice. It is played on one of the Pirates of the Carribean Movies. Will Turner plays for his father's life on board Davy Jones' ship.
