The wife , and I were planning our 5th anniversery 09-03-11 pupping it without our number 01 kiddo. We were planning to hit the finger lakes, or Adirondaks. We selected Robert Treman State Park. I went on Reserve America and was shocked (9 month limit to reserve) and all but 3 were taken. We reserved a 30ft trailer size, 15A (no ac), and hope we wont need be needing it. Has any ever camped at Robert Treman?

I know this trip was to happen in 2011, so how was this State Park? Do you have any pics?

I wish I had seen this last year! DH and took the older on a trip last year there and LOVED it!!!! It was quiet, clean, beautiful trails and close to Ithaca which is a great town to hang out in. I'll have to look at the pictures and see if there are any to post.

Never been to Treman, it's south of Ithaca. Have been to Taughannock St Pk which is a little north of Ithaca. Beautiful park, lots of trails and a waterfall. Very wooded and rustic. Fairhaven Beach St Pk on Ontario is another nice park and also Selkirk Shores St Pk. I've always had good stays at NY St Pks.

2 of each: Did you make any notes of sites you liked, and ones you'd never want? I'd be very interested in those. THis park is on our list of places we'd like to go. And I'd be interested in pics too.
