I am with most, it depends on the drive and if anything is going on at home that day. My DD and DS have cheer and soccer, so we more than likely have something and are pulling out first thing in the morning. We always start cleaning up the big stuff the night before and I have a tub just for morning dishes to be cleaned at home. Now with the HTT it will be easier to put them back in after washing them.
We tend to take our time in the morning. Need to eat a light breakfast and let the caffiene work its magic. once the blood is flowing, I take the cassette toilet to the dump station, while the DW begins loading our "stuff bucket" (rolling snap top 45gal storage bucket). Once that is packed, we put it into the truck. Then, we start taking everything down. Usually ready to leave by about 10.
I've found, if I get to the dump station before 0900, I do not have a long wait. I guess there are lots of people, who leave at 0900, because after that, there are usually 3-4 rigs in line. So, I guess if you want morning entertainment, you may want to wait until then!
Me and the misses are totally different. I like to take my time, cook, eat breakfast, lounge around let the breakfast settle, clean dishes and then slowly start packing every thing up and be gone bout an hour before check out. However it never happens that way cause my wife wants to be home the second she awakens. She'll start packing right away. She'll say take your time baby, I'm just picking up a few things. However after being with her for like 18 years now, I know that's my cue to get my but in gear lol. Besides I don't want her doing any work (she has 7 stints in her heart) so we usually are gone pretty quickly.

On the last day of our camping is usually on Sunday. We eat a cooked breakfast and slowly start packing up afterward after cleaning the pots and pans. I have to say, we are usually one of the last to leave because we don't want to go back to the salt mines on Monday! Yes, I have to wait in line to dump my tanks, but we get to enjoy all we can of the weekend of camping!
Typical state park weekened here. Did with a pup with arrivals at 7pm and still setting up until 9, and continue on Saturday morning. By Sunday, breaking the mess down for 3 hours or more. Made it a complete waste of time, and effort. We traded for a Htt, that I setup on a Thursday solo around 7pm, go home, work, and return on Friday 7pm with fully setup campsite. Had to buy a 3rd dedicated tow vehicle to facilitate the mess. Sunday we are out by 11am, after quick breakfast, fold up bunks, hooked up, and off to the dumpstation. Get home, and leave it status quo until Wednesday or whenever we get a chance to stroll inside.
We camped this weekend at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center in White Springs, FL, with micbur and friends. Mike left at 1:00 on the dot because the next reservation was pushing in and happened to be a huge sailboat! They were told the could come in before check-out/check-in time and had to park it somewhere. Sometimes you don't have much of a choice as when to leave! :-X
We normally are ready to leave by the check-out time and but from the people that were showing up at the dump station at 1:10pm I'd say we were actually early in leaving...LOL There were three other campers to show up after we got to the dump station.
When we arrived on Thursday the ranger told us that check-out was not till 1pm and check-in was at 3pm. We could go check to see if our site was empty but if anyone was still on the site not to bother them and go park in one of the parking areas. We just found it rude to park right behind us as we were finishing up. If it was well after 1pm and we were still there then YES go ahead and say something but at 12:55 don't park on my site...LOL
We look at it as getting a room in a hotel...would you like the next guest to come sit in your room as you're packing up? LOL
We have camped just about every other weekend for the past 3 1/2yrs and this was the first time this has happened
We normally pack up, wait, I mean, I pack up the campsite right after breakfast while the family heads down to the water. I go and check out then return to the general parking area and join the family. This way we don't have a problem with the next campers coming in, if any, and we just spend the remainder of the day until it's departure time.
