Is your battery fully charged to 12.6V or greater? Is the battery properly hooked up (ie. white is negative ground, black is positive). Is the self resetting fuse good? Most all built in water heaters do run on propane and not electricity. Would help if you list the make model and year of your camper in your signature.
You are going to need a small meter to test the electric.

[li]Battery should have the RED wire to positive and BLACK to Negative.[/li]
[li]Is your battery fully charged to 12.6V or greater?[/li]
[li]There is often an inline fuse on positive line to check. (some resetting, some will blow and need to be replaced)[/li]
[li]Your circuit panel will most likely have 1 breaker (often 15a) that goes thru your inverter so it will work on 120v (shore power) or 12v (battery). Your water pump and lights are on this circuit. Your outlets are not.[/li]

Good Luck!
Thanks so much for the info I've added the year make and model to my signature didn't no I could do that I'm a newbie but I'm learning . were would the resetting fuse be would it be with the rest of fuses by the inverter or would it some place under the unit in one of the wires from the battery I be leave I have Circuit breakers like in you house and 12 volt fusses like in a car I've followed the wiring from the battery to the red on off switch and to the junction box under the unit then it runs under the camper to the rear and I be leave it ends up by the inverter under the bench by the fuse boxes and inverter the battery is 12 volts I've charged it and I have a battery maintainer plugged in when the camper is not in use I no the ac and the 110 outlets need shore power but it's my be leave that other then that every thing else lights fridge hot water heater etc should function ether with lp or 12 volt with no shore power just not for a long period of time I really appreciate all the feed back because I have no clue what I'm doing yet thank you to every one
