Greetings,
New to the board.
My neighbor has a circa. 1932 Gilkison Pop-up camper that is in good original condition.  Dry stored in a barn for many decades.  He would like to dispose of it.
Is the camper collectible?  Valuable?

I can't find any for sale, no surprise. But there is some info on it here http://www.popupcamperhistory......gilkie.php

Typically old Pop Up's aren't like old cars and don't escalate on price depending on age. It was a well made camper and sold for about $350 in 1932 which was around $4700 in 2007.

If it serves your needs as a camper it's not a bad choice and should last quite a while longer with normal maintenance and repairs.

But if your looking to turn it around and make a killing I'm afraid your on the wrong track.

Dick
