I usually grab a set of king and double sheets out of the closet for the bunks if I don't plan on just using a sleeping bag. I never really noticed a big issue with them being a different size.

If you use the "JERSEY KNIT" sheets (and they are really cheap), they stretch over anything. Generally Pup mattresses are 76 or 77 in length when typical mattresses are 80.
We used Jersey Kit Queen sheets BOTTOM Sheet on Coleman King mattresses and they are perfect, then use King everything else.
