The SO said the other day: "What happened to you wanting to camp at least one weekend every month?" I told her that if the temp is in single digits that was a good enough excuse for me to forgo that goal of mine. I don't think even my electric heater and Mr Buddy combined could keep up with some of the nights we have had around here lately.
I would like to be able to say that I camped in the PUP at least once every month though. Maybe I can pull it in the garage and set up camp garage 😛
I was able to get a camping trip in this month French Creek SP in PA. It was 19 overnight and 30 during the day. I had my camper up to 60 at one point. It was a beautiful weekend. No wind during the day so I was out in just my flannel jacket.

I'm too aftraid of damaging the windows to camp below 30 degrees.
I had softops on Jeeps for many years, and they were not touched by anything during the winter.
I would definately set the heater in the camper for awhile before I cranked her all the way up. Just to soften the windows up some.
So we are heading out to the SO's parents property where the PUP has been for the last two months. Gonna try opening her up. Gonna have to dig the heater out and set it up before I crank her all the way up.
Wish me luck. We may be camping out there tonight just for the fun of it. Supposed to be in the high 20's tonight.

I don't even want to attempt it. Pup has a slide room, and you have to drag it out to access the any part of the pup fore or aft. Big pups sure do have drawbacks 😉
