Do you cover your camper?  What type of cover do you use?

I'm not sure it we should do nothing, use a tarp or invest in a breathable cover.

I use an ADCO breathable cover and love it.

It works so well that we didn't even know we had a leak in the roof from missing AC bolts until we did a trip in the rain. The unit has been rained on tons of time at home with the cover on and never got a drop in.

after using a Costco blue/silver tarp on our former popup and finding acres of mold/mildew under it, i decided to get an ADCO for our hybrid.
cleaning the top of a popup of mold/mildew, is a lot easier than the top of a full height trailer.
got mine off of Ebay. was virtually brand new.

I've simply used the 4 mil construction plastic and it's worked out fine and certainly cost less. Tie it down on all four corners, then run a line side to side and fore & aft on the outside to hold it down when it gets breezy. Do roll the awning up on the roof and this (along with the roof vent) offers a air space.
Here's a pic ~

I use a top of the line ::) Harbor Freight tarp with no problems. It's covered only through the winter, though, and the A/C unit and roof racks leave a nice air space so the cover isn't laying tight against the roof.
