I leave as much in pop up as possible. Food, clothes, sheets, towels into house. Everything else stays in, unless I have a need for it for another function/activity. Sometimes lawn chairs are used for picnics and gatherings, so they are in an easy to access spot. If the screen room is wet, then it comes out to hang in garage and get dry before repacking it.
Now at the end of the season ALL food, ALL bedding comes out, all paper(plates, napkins, paper towels). I leave as little mouse/rodent food and bedding in as possible. Remove all cansbottles that would be affected by freezing temps. Also cleanall surfaces and inside all cupboards and drawers , then add bounce dryer sheets and pack it all away till spring. Last item is a bucket or 2 with damp rid containers standing in them.
I keep some items in my pup but I have 2 plastic tubs and my stove and grill and a few other misc items that are sometimes in the pup and sometimes in the TV. I put that stuff on a rolling dolly in the garage.
