Has anyone ever purchased things from Campmor?  Their prices look good but their catalog is cheap and junky.  Are there store locations?

I've bought from them. A great place to get camping supply's at a good price. I think the only retail location is in New Jersey.

they've been around for a long time and they always had that type of catalog.
i think it's a cheap and eco-friendly catalog that helps them have low prices.

I bought some canoe seats from them a while back.  product was exactly what they described.  If i remember, isn't their "catalog" a small newsprint style deal?  don't be put off by that.  their aren't paying for a high priced one to pass off the cost to you.

Campmor is located about 1 hour from us in Paramus, NJ. The store is fanstastic ! Not as big as Cabellas or Bass Pro Shops, but still a really good size.  We've purchased a bunch of items from them over the years, and have not had a problem with returns or quality. I'd agree with bikendan that they probably have the cheap catalog to try and keep the prices low.

We have shopped there and very pleased with the deals we have gotten. It's about 45 minutes from our house. We picked up a Lexan dishset there for $40.00. Included set of 4 (dishes, cups, bowls, serving bowl and serving platter)

They also offer group discounts for scout troops as well.

I have been buying off them since I was a Boy Scout in the mid 80's.  Never had a problem with anything. Today, I recommend them to all the Scouts in my Pack.  Great company .

I have ordered several time from camp mor and have never had a problem. We use a nesting cook kit that is at least 20 years old that I got from them. Our Boy Scout Troop uses them a lot.I recommend them.
Happy camping

I've used them several times and love 'em.  In fact, they are in the lead to get my money when I buy Josh's hiking backpack.
When I was still active duty and shipboard those catalogs were camping porn to me.

Currently, all orders over $100 receives free shipping.

Likewise with everyone else ... have used them for years for a lot of camping bric-a-brac. If fact, when I see something on "special" somewhere else, I'll run it past these folks to see if such is really the case.
