At HomeDepot or Lowes. Look by the wire shelving and you will see white "hooks" like you are talking about. Thats what I used, not exactly the same but close enough.

Yes they did, The closet maid clips are perfect! while I was under the bunks I noticed that a few of the loop ends of the shock cords where wearing very thin and about to snap they are the original from 1984. So I set out to a few big box stores in my area nothing to be found. I did find a really neat little camping store here in north East NJ called Ramsey Outdoor they are like a mom and pop operation. They had very specialized items for lots of outdoor activities. I found the exact shock cord replacement for under the bunks( sold by the foot and they had like 6 diffrent sizes ) it was only 40 cents a foot. They also had the metal O RINGS TO CRIMP THE LOOPS ON EACH SIDE for a nickel a piece. I was totally amazed at the inventory and by the guy that helped me . He was extremely knowledgeable in many areas and they even offered me a cup of coffee while i waited for them to cut the cord off the reel. He went the extra mile and showed me that I should melt the end after each cut and the best way to crimp the rings on so I wont rip the canvass. I was so impressed by the customer service I decided to spend some more money in the store and found a great bullet Thermos as a gift for my older brother who likes to camp in the rear of his FJ cruiser when he goes on photography expeditions. Thank God their are still mom and pop stores in my area and I will always try this place first before I run off to a big box store. I feel like a made a Friend during my shopping experience. So thanks again for the lead on the closet maid clips!

Is the Ramsey Outdoor store still in Ledgewood? I used to go there all time. (I lived in 10 different towns in North Jersey including Lake Hopatcong). It was a great store.
