It's official. The first ever East Coast DOG & Cook Off in Bird-in-Hand, PA is a go on Oct 17-19,2014. We're planning for several activities and it will be a great weekend of good friends, good food, and good fun. Did I mention hot air balloon rides (were working on that). We have a couple of our planning team members working on the East Coast DOG website. I'll post here again as soon as it's ready. You'll be able to register online or download a snail-mail form.
It seems like a long way off but we've learned that campsites are going fast for the East Coast Dutch Oven Gathering & Cook Off. We are in communication with Country Acres Campground. Or, you can make reservations through their website: http://www.bird-in-hand.com/places-to-s ... ampground/
Rates as we know them now: Pop-up/Tent with electric/water: $38.00
Travel Trailer (Back-in) with electric/water: $42.50
We are also gathering information on additional campgrounds in the area as well as hotel/motel accomodations. I'll update you as we consolidate the info.
