I have been waiting for a week to post this thread because I believe Christmas doesn't start until AFTER Thanksgiving.....

Do you have a favorite or unique camping themed Holiday Decoration?  The first year DW and I had the popup I got a popup tree ornament.  I have been thinking of what to get this year since I now have the Class C.  Mariska Hargitay must have known what I was thinking because she sent me the below picture(thanks).  I like it.  My SIL mentioned a big blow up of an RV with Santa....I have to get that one approved by DW before I put that in the front yard  kiss

What decorations do you own or have you seen?

I don't have a pic, but I have an inflatable Santa on his Harley for the front yard. One year we did a Christmas in July at a local campground. We had Santa pulling the camper!

;D I've seen that blow up Santa as well and my kids threatened never to visit during Christmas if we put that on our hill lot where "everyone" could see it. Tempting!  ::)

When I was 16 yrs. old and worked part-time in a little real estate office in Metuchen, NJ, I would often have time to visit the Main Street shops during my half hour lunch. One of those shops, a hardware store, I believe, had painted wooden beads. I bought a couple of pounds of them and went back to the office to "work." Finding some string, I started threading the beads into a long, long strand. I still have those beads today (divided into 3rds) and hand them on our Christmas tree. My grown children have always known those beads and always tease each other as to who will get the beads when I'm gone. It cracks me up! ;D

If this wasn't $135+, I might seriously think about getting it.

Thanks for responding fmbhappycamper, I have looked everywhere on ebay and any other sites I could think of. Bummer, I don't have a tax ID number yet, so JWM will not help me. if I find another site, I'll let ya know!

I was just on JWM and I don't think they have it anymore. All I found on there were mostly ornaments and noe were pop up style.

Best Regards,
Norm

;D I have Friends that do an upside down tree every year too and a spinning one, an outdoor one and usually 3-4 other themed trees every Christmas. They deck out the yard and do windows like Macy's. Their Home is awesome especially at Christmas. They live in Falls Church, Va-Thanks for the Memories 8)
