I can't believe it is mid August and camping season in the midwest is nearing the end. It's been a hectic year for us with so many things going on that have prevented us from camping. This past weekend, though, we finally got to go. Just DW & I and we met some camping friends at a nearby state park. It was a nice relaxing 3 night outing.
With the exception of having to run back to town for propane, all systems worked well.The weather forecast indicated thunderstorms all weekend but we didn't get a drop.
I sure hope winter doesn't get here too early this year because now I got the bug again and really want to do some camping from now until late into the fall.
