Do you camp on holiday weekends because of the extra days or avoid them because it's crowded? We try to stay away but several friends only book those weekends.

We book 'em. It's a great to get away with the extra time off from work

avoid them like the Plague! :thumbdown:
also, we avoid weekends also. i rather take time off than have to deal with the weekend crowds.
only in the off-season, would i camp on a weekend.

We camp every one of them. I'll camp any three day weekend I can.

I don't go out of my way to avoid them. But I prefer to camp when it is not a holiday. There's too many people that only camp on those weekends and feel like the campground is their own private party.

We avoid holidays. Years ago when we did occasionally camp on holidays we were too often disappointed by the behavior of the holiday-only campers. I also don't miss having to deal with holiday weekend traffic!
