It's getting near the end of the season and I'm starting to get  🙁 with 2 more trips still planned.  I can see the end of another great season is near.

How many more nights do you have planned?

It's been a busy year for us.  So far, we've been on 11 trips totaling 31 nights.  One of them was a 7-nighter, and the remainder were weekend trips.

We have four more 2-night trips planned right now.  One more in Sept., two in Oct. and one in Nov.  There's a possibility we might extend that to 10, since the initial goal was to camp at least one weekend each month, and the only month we're missing at this point is December.

My camping season is just getting busy!!! Cold weather is good camping weather :baseballhat:

I am going to the 9/30 rally at French Creek and 10/14 rally at Frances Slocum.  My nephew has a cub scout camping trip 10/28 that I will tag along on.  I also plan on going back to French Creek in January for some winter camping.  I went last year and it was 16 overnight and 30's during the day.

You might call us a bit obsseive, but we camp right in November and start back up right around the first week of March.

We have already camped about 42 days this year and we have at least 12 more days prebooked.

I have to admit, TM, I was camping New Years Eve and New Years Day on the NC/VA border last year... 6 days after a record snowfall.

Ain't that a fact!!

Trying to get a few more little trips in before the snow starts falling up here in New England.  Starts getting difficult as so many of the State Parks close by Columbus Day...

It was around 60 degrees in the beginning of the month and barely hitting 40 from here on so I think our season is finished.  🙁 Time to start planning for the spring.  🙂
