I think our bunkends are about the same length as the wide so do you sleep across the camper or along the camper?  We've always slept across the camper but then one person has to climb over the other.  Might try the other way next time.

don't know if you're talking about a popup or hybrid.
hybrids have queen beds that are about 60"x80", so they aren't the same both ways. so laying across is longer than front to back.

We sleep with our heads at the end of the bunk.  We like having the bunk end shelf there so we can just grab the flashlight or whatever.

I have a king bunk that is basically square.  I will sleep along the camper so nobody has to crawl over the other.  However, when DW and DS are with me, I get the double so I am across the camper and DW and DS take the king and sleep across the camper to keep DS from rolling out.

I have a double on my end. I tend to sleep diagonal with my feet in an outside corner and my head near the corner near the dinette.

lol, glad to hear I'm not the only one who takes the diagonal approach.
