I'm leaving to take 38 Cub Scouts camping this weekend.  We go to Camp Stambaugh in north east Ohio.  The current temp is 30 down to 25 tonight. Snow again tomorrow. 1st graders (tiger cubs) tonight.  District Freeze Out tomorrow and the rest of the Pack stays tomorrow night.  It's a lot of fun, especially watching the moms that stay complain about the temps in the cabin ;D.

As an Ex Yankee, I know what that means...

Hard adjusting to the South.

Just got back, we had a great time

I got about 3 hours of sleep the whole week end trying to keep the cabins warm and taking the Cubs to the latrine. They had so much fun.  I always take them on a night hike, with out flashlights.  They all wonder why until the end and they look over the camp and actually see everything from the tall pines to Indian Creek.  Tons of "whats that?  what's that?"  The daytime District events were good and now their primed for summer camp.  I really love watching the little guys experience the outdoors and how much fun they can have without the Xbox.  I will post some pics tomorrow.

Ty,
It sounds like an awesome time.  I was on many scout camping trips as a youngster and have great memories from it.

Good job, brother.  Some of those young campers will be in your shoes in years to come.  Congratulations for making a difference in people's lives.  That's very commendable.
