JoeCamper is keeping us all in suspense. My thoughts are they decided not to purchase it when they found out that a heart shaped tub won't fit inside and they don't make silk sheets to fit the mattress. Definitely rules it out as the honeymoon suite.  :winkani:

Not sure if the price is going to work out?  The dealer originally sold the camper for $18,500 and thinks it's worth $15k.  That's a long way from $9,500.

If thing work out, I will be selling the Westlake on my own.

Maybe all of the CanvasCampers could chip in  and raise the other  $5500 as a wedding gift. I'd give you $2.00.  Any one else willing to donate to a very worthy cause?

I won $10 on a NJ rub off ticket, so I could go as high as 5 bucks.

Joe - just curious...what are they selling the new Avalons for? Would you be in a better position to make an offer on one of them? they got them for a stupid low price from FTCA, right?

Beckley's RV in Maryland sold 7 brand new - 2010 and 2011 Avalons for $13,675 + a/c and they were sold in 3 weeks of Coleman closing.  I can't find a new one within 400 miles of me.  There are 3 - 2008 used and nothing else available. Thoses are more than the new prices were at Beckley's.

The problem I need to consider is an issue Fleetwood had with the first few years (2007, 2008) of the 16' campers and power lift systems.  Big roof/Big design.  ???

Don't know if this one is still available or pricing in Maine.

Here's a 2009 - private party in North Carolina. At least it's on this coast.

The deal didn't go thru, just couldn't work the price out.  Found a few that were already sold.

Well,  if everything works out... I'm the proved owner of a N2U Coleman Avalon PopUp Camper.  :jig: Picking it up in a week, ready for Raystown in June and our next 10 years of camping.

So what color is the interior.  I want to buy Joy a matching negligee to wear on the honeymoon. FYI fleshtone is not an optional color choice.  😀
