We have a very short shopping list and unless we want NEW it's slim pickings here in N/E Florida.  We're looking from Brunswick to Orlando to maybe even as far as Tallahassee with little to look at used.  Those we do find they want BIG $$$ for junk...I guess they know the market.  But we keep looking and maybe today is the day.
Good luck and keep us informed,

Doc

I participate on another site, http://www.popupexplorer.com and one major piece of advice that was given to me numerous times is when on CL butcher the title or go generic rather than specific and I've had many more to look at including 2 this past weekend....one already sold and the other WAAAAY overpriced but at least i had something worth reviewing.  There were several others I dropped a line to including on that has been at a Yard Sale and basic but garage kept and so I'm going to call about it.  My favorite word that seems to deliver on CL is NOT "pop-up camper" but rather "camper". Two others that seem to deliver are "Coleman Camper" and "RV".

I hope this helps you as I've been doing better now.

OK i found a 2004 Starcraft Centennial 2600 for sale about 2 hours from me.  It's the model without a bathroom but that is OK with us. we really don't want one.  He is asking $4495 but i think i could get it for $4000-4100.  Gonna go look at it soon.  From the pictures it looks like its in great shape.  Any words of wisdom on this camper model?  best i can tell from nada its a really good price.

Judy,

One of the guys from Palm Coast down here has one that is WAY over priced, that's why he still has it contacted me with a price he thought I'd bite at but it's still overpriced.  A dealer outside Orlando had a very nice one at a fair price but it was gone the next day.  I'm still playing with the one that the Title isn't clear in hopes that things work out but in the meantime I keep looking and hoping.  Have you tried "Cranky Ape" as they handle repo's and buy backs and they have an office up there near you I think.  You can check them out at http://www.crankyape.com

Best of luck and if I hear anything up your way I'll let you know.

No problem, Doc. At least it wasn't a misplaced piece of forum information.  8)
