I'm hoping to open it this weekend. The battery is sitting in the shop and is fully charged, ready to go. Like CampingPhil's, it's a real pain having to use the manual override!
We bought the Niagara at the end of October, just before the Halloween snowstorm, and were able to get just one weekend out with her before winterizing. That only gave us enough time to start to familiarize ourselves with everything and give her a thorough cleaning (Hershey RV show trade that we bought as-is, and the previous owners had a camping cat :o)
I have some immediate mods to do: install 12v outlets inside, install accumulator tank (why did Fleetwood install the water pump under the slide-out???), change shore power cord from yank out of the mousehole to detachable, and design knock-down shelf system for galley. I also want to get water tank monitors installed before we get too far into the season. I had installed a monitor in the Flagstaff and we really missed it when we took the Niagara out in November.

Yargh! <- in my best pirate voice...
This is depressing. The forecast is predicting 6-12" of snow to descend on my camper overnight and into the morning.
Shove off me mates! And camp a good one for me! <-pirate voice again...
That's a real bummer! Maybe the forecasters will blow it and you won't get much.
We didn't have much of a winter in PA but now that it's the end of February I'm really ready for spring.

Ahoy, me hearties! The snow, she be coming down like rum from a broken keg! What scallywag ordered this should be keel-hauled! <- There's my pirate voice again!
We've got 8" and it's still coming down! My drive to work normally takes about an hour (including a delivery at daycare), took 2 hours this morning!
Time for my annual storage truck cleaning and organization. The sun is shinning and a breeze blowing. 8)

I throw some stuff away (rusted or broken), give some stuff away (haven't used it in a year) and try to reorganize the remaining for another season of camping. I wish there was an easy way to organize the hoses and cords. Maybe a crate?

I had mine open yesterday. No animal remnants  and no water  Fired up the heater and stove. I have a few things I need to do yet....fill propane, sanitize the water jugs, test my camp stove, caulk a section of the roof, mount my spare tire, and find my propane hose to run 1# bottle stuff off of the bulk tank. I used it for tailgating in November and I don't know where it got to. I don't think I will need it this trip but I'd like to get it back in the camper.

I have been restocking the spice rack & staples (coffee, cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc), returning laundered towels, & removing some leftover party items from our New Year's trip.
Fortunately, no signs of rodents, insects, or water damage, but man, is it dirty! I'd love to wash it top to bottom, inside & out, but's it's too chilly out there today.
Opened it up for the first time on Saturday. I wanted to do a couple mods. I left it up over night and put it down Sunday evening.
I was able to put in the thermostat mod. I also installed a battery monitor. In the process, I discovered that the DC outlet that I installed a couple of years ago wasn't working. So had to fix that as well.
But there's nothing living in it, except for some stink bugs.

Aren't they a great addition to the environment! Not >:(
We're fortunate that we don't have that many around our place ... we snag five or six a week in the house. But, when we opened the Niagara on the dealer's lot in October we were greeted by a whole lot of the little buggers. When we brought it home I spent several hours going over everything I could with the shop vac -- the back corners of cabinets, behind valances, inside the rolled up shower curtain, under mattresses -- and we still found more when we took it on its first trip.
