Yes, I am a parrothead through and through. My license plate on my motorcycle is FNS UP, only allowed 5 spaces. I have seen Jimmy about 30+ times and have traveled to St Barth's to see him back in 1999. Have stopped going recently, since I refuse to pay the service charges on tickets.
Best Regards,
Norm
Always love hearing a Jimmy Buffett song while sitting outside in the summer while having a cold beer. I went to a concert 4 years ago with DW. It was an awesome time.

Interesting that I should stumble upon this...
DH and I have always been fans, but haven't yet gotten the chance to see Jimmy live.
My parents have recently discovered Jimmy (via the local library's cd collection); my Dad called me up saying he'd love to go see him.
I'd love to take my parents, or send them by themselves to a show.
Yet, I'm not sure what to expect. Any advice would be appreciated!

Expect Lots of Fun. Everybody wears flip flops, bright Hawaiian style shirts and shorts, Lots of palm trees, parrots and cocktail hats. These are serious Parrotheads.
I have only been to one Jimmy Buffett concert and it was a blast!! My wife and I took 1/2 days at work.....for a concert that started at like 7 or something. Tailgating. That is a unique experience at a Buffett concert. I'd say that was 1/2 the show.

Yea, us too. DW always saw him every year, but the ticket prices got to be too high and the one show he does in the area (Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, VA) sells out instantaniously. Add to that the venue likes to throw people out who don't just sit and watch the show, it just wasn't worth it anymore.
