We all have a different idea of camping and these guys do it in style.  On display at the National RV Trade Show

I think it is funny that the table and chairs aren't on the deck.

there was a 5th wheel on HGTV a few weeks back.  they were at the PA tradeshow and it had a rear deck and a completely stowable 8x12 aluminum deck on the side too.  opened into the LR

I have seen that one and thought that is not the way I would want to go camping

Not something I would buy, but at least they are thinking and making use of the wasted space. Good for little ones and dogs too.

Looks like the room with the couches has a bed that come down as well on tracks.  I wonder if the deck is a ramp and the room can be used as a toy hauler.

That's exactly what it is, a toyhauler.

I remember seeing this one, or one similar, that had the bed that lowered, couches that fold to the wall and was set up so the ramp could be used as a deck. I think it was featured on one of HGTV's RV shows.

It's a clever use of features. Not one that would appeal to me but I could see a family with young children using that as safe, contained outdoor play space.

I wouldn't want to deal with the bugs getting inside, though!

It has a pull down screen to cover the back opening as well.

I saw one of these this weekend, the deck was out and no one was on it. It was a toy hauler, tri axle 5th wheel, it was huge!

I think if I lived in one of the western states and were into either dirt bikes or ATVs and liked to camp in the dessert, something like that would be awesome. But for the type of camping we enjoy, way to big...

Hey JoeCamper - - you could really bring 3 or 4 of everything if you had one of those  :lmao:

and everyone thinks it takes me a long time to set up now?  Look, there is a built-in camp kitchen!
Where are the pictures of the toyhauler with the stairs to the roof deck and built-in beer mister?

Outback Loft. The upper deck raises 6'3" above the camper line.  I guess you would have to ask the CG for the site height also?

I could see using that being in the infield at a car race.  That is if it does not upset the neighbors.
