When we go away for 5 or more days we use this system from Ikea. We store it in our screen house or easy up with sides on it.

We used to put our clothes in duffle bags and kept them in the back of the van. Each ngt I would get an outfit for the following day and take it in the pup with me. Then we had a bag to put laundry in also in the van. If it were just DH and I we would put the bags on the other bunkend. I guess trial and error is how we got to there so just try it out and do what works for you.
I just keep them in a suitcase or bag on the bunk. As long as the suitcase or bag is closed it doesn't look bad. It annoys me when stuff looks all messed up. At the very least I stash everything under the sleeping bag so it at least looks neat.
I have said this many times......the camping brochures will have flowers on the table and a bowl of fresh fruit by the sink but the NEVER have a picture of where people put their clothes.

If it's just for a 2 or 3 day weekend, we use a pair of "Camping Closets" that I purchased two years ago. DW usually preloads them, one for the boys and one for us. If it's longer than that, the remainder of the clothes go in a duffel, the camping closets get restocked mid-week and the dirty clothes go in the duffel. We started doing this in the pop-up, but the system still works pretty well in the HTT too.
The camping closet can be seen here:
Unfortunately, they're discontinued everywhere. It looks like the company "Camping Logic" may have gone out of business, since some of their other products I've run across seem to be discontinued too.
With six of us, we have tried everything.....we finally ended up using the rubbermaid bins that you can't see through. I can't think what to call them, but they're about half the size of the big ones that usually come up to your knee, just under 12" tall, I believe. They stack neatly anywhere outside the camper, usually underneath, near the door.
But the nice thing about them is that they look neat outside, and if it rains, there's not a problem with getting things wet like with the duffel bags.
