How does everyone store their families cloths while camping?  Everything we try still making the camper look trashed all trip.

When we go away for 5 or more days we use this system from Ikea. We store it in our screen house or easy up with sides on it.

We used to put our clothes in duffle bags and kept them in the back of the van.  Each ngt I would get an outfit for the following day and take it in the pup with me.  Then we had a bag to put laundry in also in the van.  If it were just DH and I we would put the bags on the other bunkend.  I guess trial and error is how we got to there so just try it out and do what works for you.

In bags stowed in the storage space under the bench seats.  Sometimes we'll use the trunk of the car for overflow.

I just keep them in a suitcase or bag on the bunk.  As long as the suitcase or bag is closed it doesn't look bad.  It annoys me when stuff looks all messed up.  At the very least I stash everything under the sleeping bag so it at least looks neat.

I have said this many times......the camping brochures will have flowers on the table and a bowl of fresh fruit by the sink but the NEVER have a picture of where people put their clothes.

Suitcases and daypacks.  They do the trick.

Yup, duffle bags, one for the two little ones and one for DW and myself.  At night, we move them to the bench seats, by day they are up on the bunks.

last year we used the plastic storage containers so it looked like dresser drawers. not bad.  this year we have duffle bags. our youngest son sleeps in his pack n play where the table goes between the seats. so the duffle bags go on the seats. and he wont pinch his fingers being curious

If it's just for a 2 or 3 day weekend, we use a pair of "Camping Closets" that I purchased two years ago.  DW usually preloads them, one for the boys and one for us.  If it's longer than that, the remainder of the clothes go in a duffel, the camping closets get restocked mid-week and the dirty clothes go in the duffel.  We started doing this in the pop-up, but the system still works pretty well in the HTT too.

The camping closet can be seen here:

Unfortunately, they're discontinued everywhere.  It looks like the company "Camping Logic" may have gone out of business, since some of their other products I've run across seem to be discontinued too.

With six of us, we have tried everything.....we finally ended up using the rubbermaid bins that you can't see through.  I can't think what to call them, but they're about half the size of the big ones that usually come up to your knee, just under 12" tall, I believe.  They stack neatly anywhere outside the camper, usually underneath, near the door.

But the nice thing about them is that they look neat outside, and if it rains, there's not a problem with getting things wet like with the duffel bags.

Forgot to add that EVERYTHING they want to bring must fit INSIDE that container.  Of course, that doesn't include the bikes, etc...

Our Flagstaff came with a hanging wardrobe, but that gets used only when our son, daughter-in-law and grandson join us. The rest of the time we each have a small laundry basket that holds all we need for 3-4 days. Those sit on the back bunk with the laundry bag stashed behind them.

We use small rolling suitcases, and store them on the unused bunkend. Neither of us can stand a messy pop up.  :ranger: After we remove what we need/want from the suitcases, they are closed up again.  Just keeps the Westholt looking neater. 🙂
