Being in Florida, we look forward to the "colder" weather.
Actually trying to talk the wife into a trip to Denver this winter.
Her sister lives there, but I (and the kids) want to play in some snow.
Don't want to live/work in it though. ;D

Denver is great in the winter! if there is no snow in the city there's always the mountains.  I wish we still lived there.

Summer ended for me last weekend when I covered my pool 🙁

Fall is AWESOME weather to camp in here in PA.  The winter doesn't stop me from camping either.  I went camping in January 2011 with snow on the ground and I think it got down to 18 overnight.  :crazydance: I did stay warm.

Looks nice and cozy! Good job on conserving the heat too.

We'll still be camping through New Years, reservations already made. We usually don't get out in Jan or Feb, too many other things going on, but resume camping in March. On both the New Years trip & the St. Patty's day trip, we have had snow on some yrs & 60 degree temps on other years. You just never know!

Camping season is almost here!  I love when it actually cools off down here.  Too bad my November and December is always so busy and we can't camp.  Maybe we will plan more trips in January-March this year.

Now is the time to camp here in North GA!!  A few years ago I camped with some friends at Ft. Yargo in Winder in Feb with snow and ice on the ground.  Thankfully my popup has heat and I stayed warm and toasty at night.  Friends have a TT that we hung out in during the day when we weren't huddled around the fire.  Great memories!!!!  Planning on going the first or second weekend in Oct up to Mtn Lakes Resort outside of Cleveland, GA.

It nice to camp out in the cool weather.  Better to snuggle up with DH or DW!

However not so fun when tenting and you wake up and the tent is 6" from your face cause of the 6" of wet snow pushing it down! (From my own experience)

At 10:49am Saturday, I was getting ready to head out from Trap Pond State Park in Delaware to spend the day at the beach in Ocean City, MD.  Screw autumn, I've still got at least on more trip planned.

We also camp 10 months a year. I like the colder weather better than the hotter. We'll stop in early January and resume in mid March.
