- I am thankful for the 10 trips I took without any injuries or major mechanical problems.
- The 3 new campgrounds I went to that were awesome
- The new friends I met while camping
- Learning to geocache with some of those new friends
- Taking my son fishing for the first time (no fish caught that time...but awesome father/son time)
- Watching my son and his cousins make friends while camping with CC
- Having my wife tell me she enjoyed a few of those trips....even if she enjoyed some of them because I took Nathan and left her at home alone to read.
- I am thankful for all of my friends on CanvasCampers. I enjoy sharing my camping experiences with you and reading about yours.

Great thread idea!
I am thankful for an injury- and illness-free spring/summer/fall 2013 camping season (this applies not only to immediate family, but to our parents as well).
I am thankful for having work opportunities available to afford camping (gas, reservations) and extras (such as firewood).
I am also thankful that nothing broke down (vehicles, PUP) that caused us to cancel our planned trips or drain our financial reserves.
I am thankful that we have places that we want to visit, and even more thankful to those who serve so that we can have that privilege.
* Loving wife that bought the new HTT when we were not in the market for an upgrade yet
* Kids that love camping as much as I do
* All the trips I was able to make this year
* All the great trips with friends from CC
* All the family trips we took this year
* Opening day trout rally with just my daughter and me
* Thanksgiving closer rally with just my son and me
* no major issues on the way, while camping, or on the way home
* I don't consider the water leak major as we were still able to camp and they fixed it right away with no
issues
Looking back it was an awesome camping year. Great thread Matt, makes you remember all the good times.
Well Im thankfull for the few trips we did get to make this past season. Unlike a previous post. We had lots of breakdowns this year, and a short layoff. Other than being a little behind on the power bill, we did manage to pull thru these setbacks pretty well. (All praise to the one true King)
Im thankfull that we was able to make 4 camping trips, and 4 trips to Branson (motel) this year. All very safe and very fun. We had 2 trips where wife got sick (blood sugar dropped quick), luckily that usually requires about a 4 hour nap, then shes usually OK. (of course insulin is required). I thank God her problems didnt last long.
--In 2 of the camping trips we encountered storm conditions (fair to strong winds and heavy rains), and the old girl held up to the storms flawlessly. Not even a leak.
All-in-all, it has been a good year. I thank you all for the prayers. I thank God for answering those prayers.
