Just wanted to say thanks for all the great info on my "new" 2001 Coleman pop-up.  I was able to find all the literature I was looking for.  Thanks sooooo much!!

I am looking forward to getting more pop up camping advice from this site.  I have tent camped for years, I'm thinking this will be just as good.....

There is lots of advice here on CanvasCampers.  Some of it you might even be useful  :lmao:

Seriously, many people here have been in your same boat, first popup not knowing what a stabalizer was or why you chock the tires BEFORE you unhook from the tow vehicle, etc.  We will try to answer your questions.

CJ: Welcome from NW Georgia. Hope you really get a lot of use from your NTY PUP. I'll bet the kids will make wonderful memories like you did with camping, no matter the sheltering!

Another hearty welcome from Georgia!  Lots of good stuff here.

I came from a tent thinking that my p'up was just a rolling tent.  BOY was I in for a rude awakening!  There's ALWAYS something to ask about and plenty of knowledgeable folks to offer their [s]opinions[/s] advice.

You're gonna love it here.  🙂

CJ Lee,  Welcome to CanvasCampers from eastern Pennsylvania.  Many of us are long time tent campers who have upgraded.  I still tent camp a few times a year just for the different experience.

Hi CJ! Welcome to Canvas Campers!

I got a popup only knowing that it was street legal and that my vehicle could tow it.  I didn't even know it had to be level, chocked, etc.  Thank goodness I very quickly found this forum and never looked back!  I learned 99% of what I know about campers from these fine folks here.

If you feel like you have a stupid question that you don't want to ask, I've asked them all.  Feel free to check some of my first posts to see some real NOOB questions  😉 Otherwise, fire away those questions, there's a wealth of knowledge here (and like Lone Lock said, some of it's useful too)

Welcome! IMO you've found the best popup/hybrid forum on the internet.
