There is a lot of great information here and I love the site.  Thanks!  I've been telling friends about it and look forward to being involved as it continues to grow.  As I read some posts and feel like I'm getting to know people, I can't help but wonder what everyone does for a living?

My wife and I are school teachers, two different schools.

Professional computer/network nerd.

While in college, I ran the graphics/pre-press department at a printing company and still do IT work for them on the side.

Electrician, then Network Administrator and now Project Manager.
I just do electric for a good lasagna dinner.
I also tinker around on an Internet forum.  😉

I have been retired since 2004. I worked for the same company for 24 years. I was the jack of all trades guy for their inhouse computers. Mainframe, PC's and networks,
hardware and software. When you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life.

I read fine print on contracts and say YES you can terminate or NO you idiot, read your contract!!!!!  No, I'm not a lawyer, but I work in a room full of them.

Joe, I have a ceiling fan that doesn't have an electrical box.  It is just screwed into a joist with a hole in the center to run the wires into the attic (previous moron....I mean homeowner).  Do I have to make a lasagna for just you or your whole family to come fix it????

Well I consider myself to be semi-retired, but I probably work harder now than I did when I had a real job! I manage a few rental properties and a vacation home and I also do home repair and minor remodeling. My wife is disabled and is self employed part-time as ans esthetician.
