For those who don't know the details, Knoebels had suffered extensive flooding from tropical storm Lee during the first week of September, 2011. The park was closed for about two weeks and reopened the weekend we arrived. The Bloomsburg Fair did not run as scheduled for the time in 156 years, it was cancelled do to the damage. Lake Glory CG, about 2-3 miles from the park and fair, had to move sites around since we normally camp along the creek and all those sites were washed away.

we visited lake glory last week, the same day that we had the severe thunderstorms. they evacuated the campground, and within 15 minutes they were pulling rvs out in a foot of water, so im told. we only live 20 minutes from Knoebels, we go there for supper alot, or just walk around and enjoy the splashes from the Skloosh.

Directions:
Route 80 to exit #232, Buckhorn. Route 42 South thru Catawissa, then 487 South. About 3 miles make a left onto Ashton Hollow Road. Follow signs to Lake Glory.
Route 81, exit # 116, Minersville. Route 901 West to 54 West into Elysburg. Turn right onto 487 North. About 6 miles, make a right onto Ashton Hollow Road. Follow signs to Lake Glory.
Terms and Conditions:
Quiet hour 11:00 PM. Check-in time 3:00 PM and Check-out 2:00 PM. Check-out time for the cabins is 11:00 AM. Pets are permitted on leash, under control and with owner assuming sanitary responsibility. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN CABINS.
Services:
Shuttle bus leaves Lake Glory at 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 6:00 PM.
It returns from Knoebels at 4:30 PM, 6:30 PM, 9:00 PM, and 10:30 PM.
Fishing in the lake is catch and release only. To fish in the stream a PA fishing license is required.
Lake Glory has a playground, camp store, and game room.

How does everyone get to Lake glory? week took trip up to Tioga PA and cut thru Centrailia via 6 1to42 to 80 then across..
I did see the signs for Lake Glory. It was insanely Hilly and I kept joking thank goodness we do not have the trailer.
Any less hilly ways to get there ? I hate when the Tahoe cries lol 🙂
