So, I was prepared to make ressies for this today. DS2 has SATs the morning of the 5th, but since this is close to home, he could drive himself to school & back for the tests. But... then he reminded me that my sister bought tix for the Union game for our whole family that night! (The SATs were on my calendar, but not the game) So, it looks like we'll miss out on a spooky good time :'(

Or how about a good old fashioned sit around the fire (drinking those cocktails) and telling ghost stories? (After the kids are asleep, of course. I know I have a few that will make you look over your shoulder, even if you don't believe in any of it. In fact, if memory serves, there might just be some stories about that particular camp ground.
I'll likely be attending this rally solo... or stealing a bed in your camper if you manage to freak me out ::)

Keep your stuff at home and stay with us. The Queen bed for the queen has a nice ring to it. Besides, this way you are closer to the cocktail and wine bar.

I just called the campground to get the schedule. It is not finalized and they do not have times yet (I guess it depends on who they have working that weekend ). The final schedule will be out the week before so I'll call then to get times for people. We are working on a few ideas for CanvasCampers, one of which that seems popular is a spooky food pot luck.

The Halloween decorations were out in February O0
Hey, can we get an updated count on the kids and the ages. We may have a game or 2 for them....but don't worry, there is a good 'un for the adults :cowboy:
I'll have my 4yo son, 9yo nephew, and 11yo niece.

Justchilln.....keep it on the radar, we'd love to see you there. Let us know if your 17yo's will want a goody bag....or if they are too cool for Halloween 8)
The reason we are trying to get a kid count is because we are probably going to have a pumpkin painting contest and costume contest and some goody bags.

I just had my Sister and BIL and family over for dinner tonight. Smoked pulled pork.....Mmmmmm  . But that has nothing to do with the Halloween Rally. But my conversation with my BIL is. I told him since I'm taking his kids I gotta borrow some of his Halloween goodies O0 He said no problem and he may come hang out at the campground on Sat since we are only about 30 minutes away.
I may need to pull my utility trailer with the RV to bring my goodies

I just got done with my Labor Day trip at Raystown Lake.....it was great, thanks for asking 😉
Now I can jump into high gear on this Halloween trip since it is the next one coming up for me. Time to figure out what I am going to bring for potluck and how i'm going to decorate my site and what costume I'm going to wear, I have lots of good ideas and so does Mike- mdbaird, and ChefPete has a few ideas for a drink contest.
More to come, but not too soon. I still have to unpack from my camping trip and then I'm sure I'll have 2 fun filled days at work. Sometimes it is better to take the whole week off 'cause you wind up doing 5 days worth of work in 2 since nobody does your work while you are gone for 2 or 3 days :banghead:

Under BadSeed, put us down for Sweeney Todd Baked Ziti. Ingredients: Fresh ground 100% human meat, sweet brains, some ground cartilage all marinated in rich red blood type 0. Sounds evily delicious. I'll need to start searching for a candidate with top choice of ingredients. You all better be careful in choosing your barber for the next 30 days. ???
OK, I'm going to have to post my food ideas as soon as I have them. I was going to do Hot dogs like Elmira, and then I was going to do a meatloaf. Hmmmm I'll have to think of another item now.

Thanks, but you posted it first. I'll come up with something else. I just have to find it. I have a friend at work who is big into halloween and gave the the "meat hand" idea so I am sure she can help me find something else.
