I like the idea of a "new" state park campground. The map seems nice and close to the water...Lori and I were just talking about camping someplace with a view. However we have to go through the holidays before we talk about 2013 camping (other than the spring opener )

There is a single two lane road the runs out the peninsula with a turn around at the end where the beach is located.
ALL tans sites are RV friendly and by the road with electric and pet friendly.
ALL purple sites are non-electric walk-in sites, (TENT ONLY) most with parking areas at the road. These sites are lower and go down to the waters edge, they can not accommodate a camper. The sites near the beach end are pet friendly.
I am working out with the campground a gathering site and this rally should be a go tomorrow.

FYI - for those fishing, Promised Land Lake was not stocked with trout last year, only Lower Lake 2 miles away in the same state park.
