Glad you're going to make it Vik-king/Jonathan! I'd have to tease you if you weren't coming because of a TV.  I don't want to deal with towing so I'm either tenting or making the TV into a camper for the weekend!

I'm bringing something for the pot luck.  It will be food of some sorts.  :omg:

Picked up the camper today....YAHOO!  Bringing a crock pot of meatballs for the dinner.  Really looking forward to getting out after missing the opener.  See you all Friday night, probably not until about 8.

I'll be bringing taco dip.  It'll be the second time I'm making it, and doing so without a kitchen will be... interesting.

Hot or cold dip?  If hot a crock pot is great!  Just start it early enough to warm all the way through.  Precook meat at home.

I'm making a dutch oven Chicken and Sausage Ratatouille for the potluck.  I've never made it before but it sounds cool.  :chef:

It has been touch and go for a couple of weeks as to whether or not we'd make this rally.
It looks like a go for us.
After looking at the dishes being brought already, we'll bring a dessert and a fresh veggie tray.

Lou, the weather wasn't looking good - but now has gotten much better.  90% chance of rain Thursday and Friday morning.
No rain Friday evening, Saturday or Sunday.

Lou, glad you and Jan will be joining all of us! Since the weather looks like it will break and we will have a nice sky & campfire Friday night my son and I will put together another biscut and cracker tray with smoked Gouda and Cheddar cheese for Friday night since there will be so much food on Saturday (still doing chicken/broccoli terryaki stir fry for Saturday pot luck)

Looks like I will not be roughing it after all. They fixed the bunk end that was the cause of the leak and replaced the mattress. I will pick it up tomorrow and drop it back off on my way home so they can replace the wall and all the wood.

If someone can pickup a box of sugar packets and 2 pints of 1/2 and 1/2 for the communal coffee supply, that would be appreciated. Donations accepted at any time. We are good on splenda, sweet/low and equal.

Remember, we will have coffee ready at 7:30 AM in 2 - 40 Cup coffee pots - site location to be announced.

You guys have a great time at promised land. I'm leaving work and will be at Laurel Hill SP by 2.
This broke through here in Pittsburgh around 8:30AM, and from looking at the radar its about 3-4 hours from your side of the state, and hardly anything at all behind it.

That's nice to see John.
It's 11:00 am here in CT and it's pouring.
We'll be leaving in a couple of hours and driving through rain all the way.
See you all soon. 😉

We are on the way, light drizzle on the outskirts of New York but we are expected to be up around 3pm. On NY state thruway where the drizzle is but the forecast has changed in our favor. No rain expected until 5pm then the rain has a 30% chance through 8, perfect timing for a fire.

I will let everyone know where the gathering site will be this evening, most likely my site '136' if we can.
