Established in 1964, Camp Taylor has always been family owned and operated. Located in the beautiful mountains of Northwest New Jersey, the campground consists of 150 sites located on 400 acres of pristine forest.
Adjacent to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and Appalachian Trail, our large wooded sites and miles of hiking trails offer a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature.

Whether you are a veteran outdoor enthusiast, or a first time camper, you will find what you are looking for in our primitive tent sites, electric and water sites, cabins, or onsite RV rentals.

The Lakota Wolf Preserve, located on the campground, offers educational talks and photo opportunities of a lifetime. The howling of wolves, which can be heard while sitting at your campfire, reinforces the feeling of a remote wilderness setting, yet you are only a short drive from dozens of family attractions, restaurants and exciting shopping venues in the New Jersey Skylands and Pennsylvania Poconos.

We're planning on going. We had such a great time on the first rally there, well except for that little incident with our truck catching on fire. I think we'll skip that part of it!

I follow the Wolf Preserve on Facebook. Once we get this finalized, I'll let them know we're coming.  :chef:

Once I confirm with DW I will book.  We are going on a 2 week vacation the following week and I am hoping to sell her on the idea that I'll take DS and she can have the weekend alone to pack, shop, and clean the house without us in the way.....isn't that great  :cowboy:  Now I just hope she buys it.

Phil and Pete are in Site 69.

Beginning of thread has been updated.

We are hoping to see the wolves in the morning, then hit the wineries in the afternoon on Saturday. The camp has an Ice Cream Social on Saturday night.

Phil had to cancel.  Lone Lock is taking his site.
Mariska, where are you camping?
I think Marc S and family is joining us too.

We are doing dinner and campfire Saturday evening.
What do you think if I make a Dutch Oven Lasagna for everyone?  Others can bring salad, garlic bread, dessert, etc?

Sorry guys, for those who haven't heard, the pickup truck is essentially dead.... and it least or now its not financially viable to repair it. (its hard to justify $1000-$1300 worth of repairs on a 15 year old truck that I paid $3500 for 6 years ago).

Hope to be back in action by September when we might have other options.

Lasagna sounds good Joe.  I'm in.  But we're going to have to tell my son we're having Raviolis that fell apart  :baseballhat:

I finally got around to calling today.  We'll be there Friday after work.  I don't remember which site but I know it's 60ish in the group with everyone else.

Lasagna sounds good to us!!  Maybe I'll have to toss my dutch oven in and try it.  It was a Christmas present that has not been used yet.

Joe, if you need if you need a second DO Lasagna to feed the group I'll do one in my DO.....unless someone else wants to do one.  If so, then I'll make my DO blueberry muffin cake  for dessert.

HERE is a DO lasagna recipe that I found that seems easy.
