Glad to see everyone booking at Sills.  I got a callback from them last night for my reservation but I missed it.  I'm going to leave a message again today.  I have started to update the beginning of the thread with the people and the sites they book.

I sent ChiefBowes a PM about canceling the French Creek Reservation.  If anyone has difficulty canceling their reservation, please let us know and we will assist you.

I just got a call back, I'm in 216.  I'll be there with my 4yo son.  I don't know if I'm going to bring my 8yo nephew and 11yo neice yet.  I was talking with DW and she said there was some things in the area that she might be interested in taking Nathan to that would be great for a 4yo, but not so much for an older kid.  Something like a kiddie train museum or something.  DW is looking into it and we'll post the info we get in case someone else wants to join us.

Someone booked site 214 that hasn't posted.  Please post so we can keep the thread updated.

It is so nice to be posting positive stuff on this thread now.  It was so stressful to be worrying about what to do with the group, finding a place, canceling reservations, 800# doesn't know what the campground is doing, etc.

I am so happy to be talking about the new campground and we'll start talking about food....I'm bringing Buffalo Chicken Pasta, What are you bringning???

Vik-King....glad you are coming to Sills.  Yes, I am looking forward to this as well after this long winter we have had.

BTW everyone.....they have different types of cabins here if you want.  Rusty I don't know what Cabin 2 looks like but I'm sure you can book it  ;D

I just called and spoke with Stephanie.  Right now the cabins have been winterized but they she expects to turn the water on in time for our weekend.  There are pictures of the cabins on the website.  She said cabin 3/4 would be $95 per night.  4 would be $110 and 1 is a mobile home and would be $85.

FYI - If anyone has trouble canceling their reservation at French Creek, please send me and Joe a PM and we will try to assist you.  You should NOT be charged the $10 cancellation fee.

Regretfully, we won't be able to book Sills as we had planned, but for a fun reason. DS2 informed us last night that he is participating in the Mr. BSHS competition at his school that wknd. It's a mock pageant type event in which 12th grade boys representing a club or team "compete" against each other (more like perform) in formal wear & also a talent (entertaining the crowd) type of event. Sorry to miss out on the camping trip, but I have to savor my youngest's last few months of high school. He'll be away at college in six months. Then we can camp all we want 🙂

Be sure you call to cancel. Make sure you are not charged the fee. They wanted to charge me the fee and I told them no, that was not acceptable as it was not my fault I could not camp where I had reserved. The resolution team member made a notation and did not charge me the fee. I will check my bank account to make sure the whole amount was refunded.

On to the make reservations at Sil's. Is there only one bathhouse?

This was my RV after the last snowstorm.  I have since cleared the snow around it and I tried to move it.  It is sitting on ice and in some muddy ruts, It ain't moving  :'(  I talked to my neighbor who has a 4x4.  Next weekend we'll put a chain on it and give it a tug out so I can clean it and get it ready for the Spring Opener.

We're getting another snowstorm Monday......don't pile the snow in front of the camper, it might not melt by then.

Does anyone know if the spots at sills will be plowed, won't be able to get stabilizers around my pup if there is snow under it.
