Looks like we are going to have 28 people this trip.  I will be there with Nathan and my BIL will be there with Evan.  Don't know if they will have their own site or not.  They still have to get a brake controller in their TV so I may tow their trailer up and essentially stay with them.

I will bring a table and an EZ up.  I am still thinking about what to bring to the pot luck.

Chef Pete has decided we will have 2 crock pots of Roasted Chicken thighs - one will be Barbecue enhanced, and one will be garlic and herb enhanced. We will have about 50 pieces worth.

Sides to compliment it is appreciated.

We're not sure if we're going to make it based on the amount of snow still surrounding the trailer. Probably make the call by Tuesday, hopefully some of the white stuff will melt.

Vik king....please let us know the status of the plowed sites.  I kind of hope that they are not plowed right now and they allow everything to melt naturally.  Maybe plow on Thursday if needed.  Otherwise there will be huge mounds of snow at the back of the sites.

I still plan on going.  I just spend most of the weekend finishing up replacing my camper floor, reinstalling my water tank, HWH, and water pump.  I also dewinterized to get that funky smell out of the water lines.

The campground is planning to hopefully clean up sites as needed on Wednesday, they are expecting that most the snow is gone before then with the 50 degree temperatures today and tomorrow.

Joe and Dawn, you cant get like 50 Mountain bikers  to come over and put harnesses on like they do on the dog sleds and pull your camper  out of the snow mound lol, probably not feasible, but sure would be fun to watch, * Hold my beer while we pull this camper out of the snow. or you cold just do what i do and snow blow the lawn all the way to the camper . ( my neighbors think i am mental when they see me snow blowing my  lawn ) lol they might actual be on to something!

The floor and rear bed are all back together.  I have my water system working good and sanitized.  I have 1/2 of my peel and stick floor done.  I'm just about ready to go camping  🙂

I am going to try and make pizza muffins in a cardboard box for lunch on Saturday.  I have done them with the boy scouts when I was a kid but not in about 20 years.  Nathan and I are doing a cub scout camping trip the first weekend in May and I will be making them with the kids.  I need to work out some of the details so I don't set a box on fire  :chef:

                      [shadow=red,left][glow=red,2,300][size=30pt]WOOD![/size][/glow][/shadow]

Historically we have a big group and have a cord of wood delivered.  We'll have a smaller group this year, but we'll still need wood.  I can call around and see about getting 1/2 cord of wood delivered if everyone is willing to split the cost (anticipated $10-15/site) or we can each bring our own wood to add to the fire.
LoneLock/Matt will be bringing a good amount of wood, but if that's the only wood and we have a typical fire we won't make it to Saturday night 🙂

Thoughts?

1/3 of a cord of wood is what fits in my truck.  5.5 deep by 4 wide by 2 high.  I have more wood at my house that someone can stop by and pick up if they want.  I live about 30 minutes from the campground.

So I was on travel this week to Ft Benning, Georgia. The temps were in the 90's !

While I was gone, my wonderful husband uncovered the trailer and started the prep work, so looks like we're good to go for Friday.

We probably won't be participating in the potluck, due to the weight loss challenge. But we will definitely bring our meal to eat with everyone.

Safe travels, see everyone in a few days.
