We'll be visiting Saturday afternoon with 2 doggies and will bring a dessert for the potluck.  Probably a pie or cookies, depending on what Sam's Club has that looks good, uhhh I mean, depending on what Mr. 2HappyCampers bakes....

I have no problem pitching in for wood at $10/$15. I can bring a bag of 2x2 kiln dried lumber that the firefighters have been breaking on RescueDoor practice.

Matt, your truck only looks half full.  Is that all the Toyotas can handle?

We can chip in for wood.  We only have a very small amount here.

I would put much more wood in the Toyota if I wasn't towing a 5,000# trailer to camp....I need to be mindful of that.

I have an EZ up and 2 tables as well.  Nathan won't be with me on Friday.  I need to run home Saturday morning to do some errands and pick him up.  I hope to be back at camp by lunch.

We will need to figure out whose site would be the "community site" for fire and food. Maybe I can talk them into "giving" us a gathering site for real cheap.

The campground is fine with using a site to gather.  It is there opening weekend and they will be very slow.

FYI - the campground does not currently have ice but it is available within 3 miles of the campground.
Chester County Beverage, 5802 W Lincoln Hwy, Parkesburg, PA 19365 sells ice, 8 lbs for $1.75, 40 lbs for $5.50

There is firewood .9 mile from the campground, 1/2 cord for $100.  $12-$15 per site

I just booked site 1545.  It will just be Evan and l for the maiden voyage (at least for the Burkeys).  Karen will be in Europe and Sabrina has indoor guard all day Saturday.  See you sometime Saturday morning. It will take us a little while to get packed up and going.  Evan would like for us to contribute rice pilaf, but it looks like rice might be covered already.  Maybe some cooked vegetables (garlic roasted cauliflower anyone??)

We are bringing Stauffer's veggie lasagna. As this will be our maiden voyage with this trailer, I think we will be spending most of our time learning our way around, so I decided to make the dinner as easy as possible.

I will bring Pasta with Clam sauce.  I don't like linguini so I usually use a different noodle.

Looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday afternoon.  We bought DIET COOKIES. They have zero calories...if you don't eat them.

The Honey Glazed Carrots and the Roasted Cauliflower sound delicious.  Can't wait to have those with the other great dishes and the chicken wings!
