We will bring stuffing, a table, and can help set up.

Table has been updated.  Less than a week until we all need bigger pants for our food babies!

We still need a propane tank, at least one more table and a couple more ez-ups wouldn't be bad to have on hand.  We also need more help with set-up and especially clean-up.

Looks like 36 Adults vs 3 Teens & 3 Children...not bad odds!

COVID:

We are taking steps to help prevent the spread of covid.

  1. If you are sick, please don't come.  We will even deliver a plate of food outside your camper door.
  2. Observe social distancing while sitting around the campfire. There will be plenty of fire and warmth, I promise.
  3. Put on your mask when filling your plate for the potluck.  We will NOT be providing masks so don't forget yours.
  4. We will have hand sanitizer available at the gathering site.
  5. We will provide gloves at the beginning of the food line and a trash can to properly dispose of them at the end of the line for handling all the serving utilizes.

We typically share the cost of this rally including the gathering site, firewood, turkeys, oil and propane.  These prices are an educated guess.

$80 gathering site

$190 firewood

$25 propane

$45 turkeys

$40 oil

$380 total

15 sites

$25 per site.

We were considering only ordering a 1/2 cord of wood with temps in the 60s but I'd rather have a larger fire and spread out.  Don't hesitate to take a handful or two of firewood back to your sites if you'd like to.

Almost time!!!

We could still use another couple tables and ez-ups, if you have them, please bring them if you have room.  Better to have extras and add to social distancing if possible.

We also still need 2 more helpers for Set-Up and 2 more for Clean-up.  Don't forget to bring some tupperware for leftovers.  And there will be a bin for recycling.

If your food will be in a crockpot, please bring an extension cord and/or power strip to help share the electrical load.

There will be a community coffee pot set up each morning at the gathering site, so please feel free to bring creamers or sugars that you like to use.  (Also, who ever delivers my coffee to my camper is an automatic Canvas Camper Winner! LOL)

See you soon!!

But the problem there is they need a long stick to nudge you first to get you out of bed to just drink that coffee. What that about not poking a bear ?

It was a great season closer for the camping group. 70 degrees every day, plenty of food, fire and friendship.  The leaves were beautiful. We had a few visitors from the Guitarman, Saint Paula and CampingPhil families.

Many of the rallies are started for the 2021 season.  Click below for details.

https://canvascampers.com/group-rallies/

We are looking for help with rally moderators to answering questions and updating the rally table.  If there is a rally you will be attending and can help, please let 2HappyCampers or I know. Thanks
