I need to talk to Christine but would like to try something new on this trip, maybe play a tournament like horse shoes or corn hole? Maybe we can change up the potluck dinner? Any suggestions?
Beerlifter had a great amazing race at an Oklahoma rally, maybe I can get the details and we run try it here?
The amazing race sounds fun. Most of our kids will be at this rally so I'm sure its something they would all enjoy. Horse shoes or corn hole tournament is another good idea. I was thinking the same thing about food after all we are celebrating a few birthdays. We will talk about it at our next rally.
Wow, if it was during summer I'd definitely go on this one, but it's too far for a weekend for me. I used to live not far from DWG when I was a teen and my folks and I would frequently day trip here - Dingman's Falls was a favorite place. We also used to visit High Point SP on the NJ side. Have fun, it's a beautiful area! 🙂
For the Saturday evening potluck dinner and Guitarman's birthday rally weekend, Christine will be providing the entree' (steak for the adults and hotdogs for the kids) then cake for dessert.
1. We are asking for attending members to bring side dishes, common to other rallies.
2. mtn_bikers will be bringing a keg of Yuengling Lager and taking a $10 donation per site if you are interested in partaking.
3. Firewood for the group campfires will be provided by a member and donations taken.
We will be making a pan of roasted Red Potatoes in Rosemary :chef: and you can include us for money toward a few cold lagers.
Pathwacker, I hope that can join us or at least stop by for the potluck and campfire.
All this time I had my schedule wrong, going to J-Bay kayak fishing the week before 😀 !! There is a chance (slight right now) we'll be showing up!! Can't miss Steve's B-day if we have a chance to make it, and a corn hole tourney with keg on hand, it just gets better. When Kate gets home tonight we'll see if she has anything on her calender, if not I'll call up for a reservation.
I was just looking at Otter Lakes Website and saw... (just an fyi)
