I found this  old ladle at a amish garage sale yesterday in sugarcreek ohio. Dont know much about it, or what it may be worth. Looks similar to a old cast iron smelting ladle used in a blacksmith shop. It has wrighting on inside handle. It says cusper 4  Going to clean it up, and use it as a soup ladle for the dutch oven.

I would think twice about using it for soup. Might have been used to smelt lead.

i have that in mind, going to get it tested for lead, and if i find it non usable for food consumption, it still will make a cool orniment  hanging on the wall  ;D 😉
