First: do not throw the old curtains away. They are your pattern and you might need the things that they hang from to make new curtains with.
You can use bed sheets to make curtains. They are light and lots of patterns. They are also hemmed.
Does your camper have a valance all the way around that covers the top of the curtain? If so, your job is even easier. The finishing on the top doesn't matter quite as much. You could even cut 2" down from the top of the existing curtain and just sew your new material right on.
Any dry cleaner can sew for you. Or call one of the high schools and ask if there are any students in a sewing class that would like an easy job.
