If you have the LCI Components bunk doors on your HTT you want to pay special attention to the caulk joint in the picture. This joint can pull away from the fiberglass and will not be noticeable visually. If it fails water will get inside of the bunk door panel itself. You will most likely not ever see or notice it is leaking until you discover the weakened door panels. I now check these joints using a business card and trying to slide it behind the caulking.

The LCI bunk doors are used by about every manufacturer on the newer HTT's except Forest River. It's used by Jayco, Keystone, Starcraft, Aerolite, Kodiak, Heartland, KZ and others. That being said the Forest River door system also has the same type of caulk joint in the same area at the bottom door channel. I believe that this joint takes a lot of stress and has some movement when opening or closing the bunk. which will pull the caulk away over time. A massive amount of water runs down the front bunk door due to the slope, and over this joint when the door is closed. The latches can be configured differently between manufacturers and some have the pull handle, some do not. The LCI assembly looks like this. It has rounded corners at the top.
