It looks like Starcraft and Jayco are owned and manufactured by the same company, what's the difference besides the price?

If the two product lines have been integrated then floor plans would be about the only other difference.  Construction and products used for construction would be the same..    If the two have been kept separate then you may also see construction (how the unit is made, wood v.s. metal studs etc.), interior finishing (colours) and a few minor things different.

You are correct.  in 2007 or 2008 Starcraft was acquired by Jayco.  Since than the PUPs, HTT, and some TT have been rolling out of the Jayco plant in Middlebuyry, IN.  The high end TT and 5th wheels have not changed and are still rolling from the same plants they always have, at least according to my dealer.

There is not much difference in the PUPs, HTTs and low end TTs the floor plans are the same, the only real difference are the interior and exterior colors and and a few other options.  The warranties are different as well, Jayco has a 2 year and Starcraft sill has the one year.

Jayco acquired Starcraft in January, 1991. That was just the RV division. Previously Starcraft was in the boat building business years before they ever got into RV's (which was 1964), and at the time Jayco bought the RV division,  the "Stacraft Marine" became separate with no connection to Jayco. Starcraft operated separately from Jayco until the hard times set in and now (popup campers anyway) are now re badged Jaycos.

flyfisherman is correct. Jayco has owned Starcraft for some time. only when the recession hit, did they close down the Starcraft factory and start making Starcraft clones at their own factory.
Rumor has it that they are going to re-open the Starcraft factory but nothing about whether Starcraft will be making their own floorplans again or continue making clones of Jayco's.

i think it's odd that Jayco has a two year warranty with their trailers but the same exact trailer with a Starcraft name on it, only gets a one year warranty.
